The Ready Ears housing is made of Grivory® via plastic injection molding. The mount plate is currently made via 3D printing by Bayani Designs.

*Earplugs must be cleaned prior to first use in Ready Ears in order to remove an anti-friction powder applied at the 3M factory. The powder is non-toxic, but it reduces friction, which makes the plugs prone to popping out of Ready Ears. A light soap and water, or isopropyl alcohol swab wipe down is adequate.
